Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Turtle Lake Public Library (FTLPL) was incorporated in 2009.
A board of directors was formed and the group immediately started fundraising. 
The Friends have a vested interest in supporting the library in the following ways: 

  • Maintain an association of persons interested in good library service

  • Promote the growth, development and greatest possible use of the Turtle Lake Public Library

  • Create public interest in the Turtle Lake Public Library

  • To increase knowledge and a better understanding of the resources, services, operations and needs of the Turtle Lake Public Library

  • To enable the Turtle Lake Public Library to enhance services, expand programs and add new dimensions that maximize the Library’s role and usefulness in the community

  • To enrich the library’s resources through funds derived from memberships and special projects

  • To encourage gifts of books and other materials which will be compatible with the objectives of the library

  • To encourage endowments and bequests
