Local Parks of Turtle Lake

Turtle Lake offers several parks for you to enjoy. Clean and family-friendly, get out there and play with the kids or have a picnic!

Village Park

The Village Park is located just south of Hwy 8 & 63 with access from Maple Street North and Pine Street. Overnight camping is available. Restroom facilities open during the summer months.

Skinaway Park

Skinaway Lake Recreational Park is located off of Rustic Road 67 north of Turtle Lake.  The park offers a picnic shelter, grills, and ample parking throughout May-October, and trails and camping areas along the waterway.

Camping is also available at the park by written permission from Village Hall.

Hartzell Memorial Field

This softball field serves the area as a community playing field and has a newly constructed shelter, concession stand and restrooms facilities. Leagues, schools, residents, and visitors are welcome to use the field, shelter, and concession stand.

West Side Park

The park is located off of Ostermann Drive and Elizabeth Court on the western side of the Village. It provides a playground area, open lawn and a picnic shelter for the neighborhood residents and visitors.

Railway Park

Railway park is located along Railway Avenue and Maple Street in the downtown business district. It offers a picnic area and a welcoming lawn to enjoy on sunny days.  Bring a lunch, a book, a Frisbee... simply enjoy the scenic area downtown.
